The three-day training took place August 3-5, 2010 at the LEED® certified Edison Building, 701 9th St. NW Washington D.C. greeNEWit, in collaboration with greeNEWit Government Contracting and gREATESST, trained 17 Pepco energy advisors and call center support technicians on energy auditing and the importance of having diagnostics in place. Other topics acura included health and safety concerns within the home, do it yourself energy savings tips and electric base-load reduction techniques.
Since 2008 greeNEWit has been providing energy audits within the Pepco territory for residential customers and the gREATESST software is used in their Income Eligible Energy Efficiency Program.
