Bucknum, Stout and Mitchum Motorsports Overcome Hurdles to Finish at NJMP

PRLog (Press Release)– Jul 28, 2011– P1 Groupe drivers Jeff Bucknum and Robert Stout drove the #6 Mitchum Motorsports Camaro GS.R in the B+ Foundation Heroes 200 last weekend at New Jersey Motorsport Park in Millville, NJ. The race marked the ninth race on the 2011 GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series schedule. Stout was asked to qualify the car and he once again proved that he will be a threat in the starter role for years to come by qualifying in the eighth pos chrysler ition.

As the race started Stout was able to keep the Camaro in the top half of the pack and continually ran fast lap times. Just before the midway point of the race the one hundred degree heat took a toll on the #6 Camaro causing a mechanical problem and causing the car to be towed to pit lane before the driver change that would have put Bucknum in the car. Once figuring out the problem, the team put Bucknum into the car in order to gain Driver Championship Points for him, but the #6 was already being s corsa hown several laps down. In the end the Mitchum Motorsports Team finished the race in car news sixteenth position, and the team stuck together to get the car back on track, but the disappointment was evident with both drivers.

"This weekend was a real disappointment for us" Stout explained. "The car was fast and we had good position in the opening laps of the race. About 30 minutes in we found ourselves with a throttle body issue. As I would push down the throttle the car wasn't recognizing it, this issue would hold for about three to five seconds before it would run perfect again. This made it extremely difficult and dangerous to stay up to speed with everyone not knowing when the car would randomly fall to an idle. The worst part about it, and what we think may be one of the reason for the part failure, was the extreme heat this weekend! This team worked so hard for so long in this heat without the slightest bit of complaint! This team has amazed me before but this weekend really showed everyone's true colors and commitment, neither of which disappointing anybody! I wanted nothing more than to put this car on the podium purely for the crew and it's a shame we fell out like we did. We have one more race coming up at Mid-Ohio, a track I know very well. I think it will show great results for us!"

Bucknum's comments were similar to those of his teammates. "Unfortunately we had another tough race at New Jersey Motorsports Park in the #6 Mitchum Motorsports Camaro.  My teammate Robert was running solidly in 4th place and catching the cars in front of him when we had some sort of fuel problem caused by the extreme day time temperatures that reached over rc helicopter and car market place 100 degrees outside with very high humidity.   I was so proud of our Mitchum Motorsports team because of how they never give up.  Even though the heat was so incredibly taxing our crew jumped on the #6 car and got it fixed quickly so I could get in the car and finish the race.  The good news is we still salvage a few points by getting back in the race and moved up few positions before the race ended.  It was difficult to be out there racing because our #6 Camaro was faster than the lead cars of the race as I was passing most of them, but unfortunately it was not for position because of how many laps down we were.  I am super confident we have everything we need to win one of these races and I am sure it will come very soon!"

Following the stop in Millville Bucknum is currently in 18th in Driver Championship Points Standings, while Stout, who is vying for the MESCO Rookie of the Year Points Championship, sits 2nd in GS Class. Mitchum Motorsports is currently 11th in Team Championship Points Standings for the GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series.

The next scheduled race for Jeff and Robert will be the EMCO Gears Classic September 17th on the 2.258-mile, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, OH.  This race can be on SPEED Channel on September 25th at 12pm. All Times Eastern.

Thousands of Yorkshire homes are gas safe thanks to Help-Link

PRLog (Press Release)– Jul 27, 2011– Over 7,800 local authority owned homes across the Yorkshire region have all been inspected and repaired as necessary by the company's 130 engineers.

One of the largest central heating specialists in the North of England, Help-Link was awarded the ' aston martin super' contract as a result of a collaborative procurement programme managed by the Northern Housing Consortium (NHC).

The consortium is an independent, non-profit making organisation that facilitates collective buying on behalf of its members who include local authorities, housing associations and other organisations involved in housing.

The £2,930,880 contract awarded to Help-Link included the annual gas servicing and provision of Landlord Safety Certificates for 3,885 properties in Harrogate, 2,400 in Selby and 1,600 in Richmondshire.

One of the biggest challenges we face is gaining access to properties so that we can check tenants' boilers. Most other maintenance companies report a 90-95% success rate, ours is 100%."

Creating 12 dedicated teams, Help-Link planned the servicing programme across the three council districts with military precision. Tenants received a combination of letters and text messages explaining the importance of the visits and were offered a selection of appointment times includin corsa g early evenings and weekends. The combination of effective communication and convenient appointment times ensured 'zero no access' was achieved – not one single boiler was missed.

PRLog (Press Release)– Jul 20, 2011– This new Australia Power Report from BMI forecasts that the country will account for 3.03% of Asia Pacific regional p bmw ower generation by 2014, with a relatively stable theoretical generation surplus. BMI 's Asia Pacific power generation assumption for 2009 is 7,308 terawatt hours (TWh), representing an increase of 2.6% over the previous year. We are forecasting an increase in regional generation to 9,725TWh by 2014, representing a rise of 26.2% in 2010-2014.     Asia Pacific thermal power generation in 2009 totalled an estimated 5,849TWh, accounting for 80.0% of the total electricity supplied in the region. Our forecast for 2014 is 7,600TWh, implying a 23.7% growth that reduces the market share of thermal generation to 78.1%. This is thanks largely to environmental concerns promoting renewable sources, hydro-electri city and nuclear generation. Australia's thermal generation in 2009 was an estimated 258TWh, or 4.41% of the regional total. By 2014, the country is expected to account for 3.66% of thermal generation. For Australia in 2008, coal was the dominant fuel, accounting for 43.3% of prim alfa romeo ary energy demand (PED), followed by oil at 35.9%, gas at 17.9% and hy dro at 2.9%. Between 2010 and 2019, we are forecasting a 12.10%, increase in Australian electricity generation, which is one of the lowest projected rates for the Asia Pacific region. This equates to 5.10% in the 2014-2019 period, down from 6.66% in 2010-2014. PED growth is set to ease from 10.91% in 2010-2014 to 7.73% in 2014-2019, representing a 19.48% rise for the entire forecast period.     An increase of 25.79% in hydro- power use during 2010-2019 is a key element of generation growth. NAFA Elevates Fleet Safety To The Forefront Of The Industry

North Carolina Solar Center Expands Testing Capabilities With Donated Solar Array

based Southern Energy Management (SEM) designed and installed the system, which was donated by Kaneka.

Mounted on three poles behind N.C. State University's demonstration Solar House (a pro buick gram of the N.C. Solar Center http://www.ncsc.ncsu.edu/), the array is designed to be a demonstration installation allowing researchers to study the efficiency of the Kaneka thin film panels. A monitoring system is being added to give real-time updates on the system's output. SEM finished installing the modules in April.

"We are grateful for every donation and resource that expands our research and demonstration program," said Steve Kalland, executive director of the N.C. Solar Center. "Having this new thin film system allows us to provide Kaneka and the rest of the solar industry with valuable real world performance data."

This is the second time Southern Energy Management (http://www.southern-energy.com) and Kaneka (http://www.kaneka.com/) have teamed up for a project at the N.C. Solar Center, and this represents SEM's third installation at the site.

"Having a close re auto part lationship with the N.C. Solar Center has always been important to us," said David Boynton, SEM's director of product development and training. "They help the entire clean energy industry continue to grow, and the impact of their efforts to educate the public and prepare future solar professionals cannot be overstated."

With this latest installation, the N.C. Solar Center now has six photovoltaic systems capable of generating over 14 kilowatts on site, to go along with two demonstration wind turbines and a solar thermal system producing hot water for the Solar House.

KLNE breaks ground on new factory site

The ground breaking ceremony for KLNE's new manufacturi chevrolet ng facility and research car news and development centre took place on 29th June in Changzhou.

The event was attended by Changzhou local government leaders, the Mayor of Changzhou, leaders and staff representing the Wujin Economic Development Zone. KLNE were represented by Wison Qi, Sales Director and Paul Nicholson, Marketing Director.

Qi hosted the ceremony and speeches were made on behalf of the local government and KLNE followed by the unveiling of the foundation stone by the Mayor of Changzhou and Paul Nicholson. The other dignitaries then joined in the groundbreaking ceremony on the 100 acre site.
